ONE-ON-ONE WORKSHOPS

By far the most popular of the workshop options, this format offers the students the opportunity of undivided attention with the instructor.

The workshop usually runs for +-4hours in total, starting off with some basic theory, then a practical session (most likely at a beach), and ending in a short editing class over coffee. You can expect a fun filled afternoon with a strong focus on learning and enjoying nature all at the same time. Each workshop can be tailored to the skill level of the participant in order to get the most out of the experience. Participants are welcome to bring a friend or family member as this will lower the overall price of the workshop.

Details:

Locations - I prefer to shoot at the beach where I can easily demonstrate the use of long exposures, but the location can be tailored to the participant's needs. Popular locations include; Blouberg Beach, Kogelbay, Lionshead, Kloof Corner, Table Mountain, and many more.

Cost - R1500 for one person, and R700 for every extra participant after that (maximum of 3 participants to guarantee attention)

What you'll need - Participants are required to bring their own camera (which shoots in manual mode), lenses, tripod, filters (optional), and remote shutter release for long exposures (optional). Outdoor shoes are also advised as well as a warm jacket for when the sun sets.

Photo Location Guiding

With over 5 years of experience shooting in and around Cape Town, I have come to know the best photography locations and spots to visit with your camera. I have received ongoing requests for personal photo guiding in and around Cape Town, so I have decided to add that service to my portfolio.

These kind of experiences are very much built around the needs of the client as well as the weather conditions etc. This service is usually popular with international travellers who are not familiar with the city and prefer having a local to assist them.

What to expect:

- A day of adventuring in Cape Town from one epic spot to the next, photographing as much as we can

- Learning new and useful photography techniques

What to bring:

- A camera that shoots in manual mode, tripod, filters, or whatever other gadgets and gear you have

- Warm clothes and shoes, refreshments, and anything you might want on the day

Cost:

- $100 for a sunrise/sunset session only, and $200 for a full day of adventure from sunrise till after sunset

NOTE: I am not a licensed mountain or tour guide, so I can not take you up any mountain. My role is merely photo guiding of my favorite spots around Cape Town while sharing my inside knowledge and skills in order to give you the best chance of getting photos that you will treasure forever.
